This book is the result of a research project of the Atlanta Chapter of the Sons of the Revolution. As anyone that has conducted historical or genealogical research has discovered, it is not possible to identify all potential sources of information to support the research. An extensive effort was made to find all known sources for this publication, but in all likelihood there are many more to be found. Therefore, the publication of this book in the fall of 2016 represents a foundation for which more information may found in the future.
It is the intent of the Atlanta Chapter to continue the effort to identify additional Patriots that participated in Georgia Revolutionary War engagements and continue to document them. To that end, the Atlanta Chapter is dedicated to make all future findings available on our Chapter website.
We welcome users of this book to assist in this research and to submit any new relevant information found regarding Patriots that have been identified or those that up until now were hidden in history. Submittals may be sent to the Atlanta Chapter via the form available on our website. All submittals will be subject to verification by the Atlanta Chapter prior to posting in the public area.
